So we need more independent artists making videos for their own music, so I thought I’d lead by example with some dope MVGEN videos for Knight Blade and my past and current rap music. Here’s a video for Knight Blade’s “True Champion” with some dope sports action from Steph Curry, Blake Griffin Christian Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
So do to complications all of the MVGEN videos were taken down from YouTube, but have no fear you can still watch them at the MVGEN Archive. But this gave us a chance to make some all new videos for some of our favorite songs like Knight Blade’s “I Got That Weed.”

So today is the 60th anniversary of the assassination of Malcolm X. Given the both he and Bob Marley were both pro-Black leaders inspired by Marcus Garvey in the fight for Black people worldwide, it is only right that we use a Marley video “Revolution” to pay tribute to him.

So Kelissa is a dope new female reggae artist coming out of Jamaica. She has a song with Chronixx called “Winna” about overcoming obstacles on the path to victory so I thought I would add some Jamaican athletes to the video. I put in Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling from the Liverpool Footbal Club (soccer team for you Yankees) as Sterling was born in Jamaica and Sturridge’s parents are Jamaican and of course Usain Bolt.
We’re doing some really cool things at MVGEN. Super coder John THreat has added a color tint mode that allows users to change the colors of the video. Check the appropriate red tint for the classic reggae drinking anthem “Red, Red Wine” by UB40.
So today would be Bob Marley’s 70th birthday. As a tribute to him we made a video for his song “War” which took the lyrics from a Haile Selassie speech with footage from protests and riots across the globe showing that the words still ring true today.
So Dub music is making a big comeback thanks to Suns Of Dub and Addis Pablo. This song “Hot Steppa” is a collaboration with Suns Of Dub and reggae superstar Chronnix with the Green Lion Crew, which was put together by Walshy Fire, reggae music ambassador and member of Major Lazer. I was able to find some cool art gifs that match the feel of the song to create a nice video.

So Major Lazer is a dope EDM group that combines reggae, soca, hip-hop, r&b, pop and rock. My homie Walshy Fire was in the renowned reggae Sound System Black Chiney Sound before joining the group and Jillionaire is a Trinidadian deejay who adds his own flavor to the mix. Diplo is probably one of the biggest producers and deejays in the game and it’s dope they highlight Caribbean artists like Machel Mantano and team them up with pop acts like Ariana Grande.

So we’ve done this video before but never quite as good as this. It turns out the same people who like weed like gifs so their are tons of weed gifs on the web. We’re even giving you a double bonus and putting in another weed song “Toke That” by Metric Man. But first check “I Got That Weed” by the almighty Knight Blade.
So today is Muhammad Ali’s 73rd birthday and even tho he hasn’t fought in decades he’s still the most popular boxer when it comes to gifs. I added som Mike Tyson and other boxing gifs to make the video but Ali is def the star of this one. Happy birthday champ. Enjoy the video.
