Private Videos For Users and NewsLetter Launch!
So the number one requested feature was private videos – and now it’s here! When you create a video when you have an user account. It is automatically private until you decide to make it public. No one can see if except for you!
We launched a newsletter than will go out like once a month to let you know the newest features and new and update you on how your videos are performing. In the newsletter we annouced for instance our newest crazy font additions for titles. Sign up for a user account today!
We also have a top secret hardware project to help stream gifs to your television set, or on a projector to have fun at parties or just kick back and zone out. It’s called the GIFBOX and you can pre-order one now for $85!

Happy New Years Guys! We hit 1 Million views on Youtube!
This is a grand day for us – a huge milestone. Not to mention it’s all because of your guys! We are trying to build a world on the internet where your music gets the most exposure ever!
We premiered USER ACCOUNTS Click the tab at the top and sign up! It gives you the ability to control the videos you make. You can upload em , delete em, rebuild them:
More features coming soon – like putting your own logo on your videos and more!
We also added a LIKE button to the videos , so you can like and collect the videos you love.
There are some other changes too that sped up the code base of half a million lines of code and of course, more filters and fonts coming really soon!

400,000+ Views On Youtube and MVGEN Improvements!
Yeah! We reached YAM! Yet Another Milestone. 400,000+ Views on the MVGEN Youtube channel featuring great music and videos from artists from around the world. We Tipple our Fedoras to you!
We are stoked and so should you be – that means the videos you make and if you opt-in to send it to YouTube will get tons of views – which is really part of our larger mission: To get your music out there and heard and seen by as big of an audience as you want. We love that the videos are getting better and better!

Search In The Archives:
Now you can search the archives for your own videos or for other incredible videos from other artists!
New Rendering Engine:
We rebuild the rendering engine and flushed the database of all the broken GIFS. The engine flags and removes all GIFS that would cause unpredictable renders some times. Not anymore! We also changed the process for splicing the GIFS and we are super pleased with the results. There also was a change in Quicktime that needed a new render formula. Old videos will be converted to the new MP4 cross platform version soon.
One New Effect! Bubble Warp!:
Pick this and it goes all weird and warped thanks to some advanced mathematics!
Sorry for the delay on effects. I had some real world music videos that premiere in May coming out!
Also small changes like automatic naming convention for youtube/soundcloud/bandcamp, and general code improvements.

A Slew of New Filters , Bug Fixes and 20+k Youtube Views!
OMG! We got a slew of new filters coming online as promised. Here is a run down of them:
FILTERS:

REVOLVER: Rotates the GIFS. There will be multiple speeds , but pair this with a frame rate to change the flow
RING OF FIRE: A literal ring of fire around the frame. Burn Baby Bury like disco inferno.
FIRES OF HELL: A roasting flame coming up from down below.
ETHEREAL SHIMMER: Ghostly haunting sprites float around. Dreamy. <3
CYBERPUNK: A series of high tech overlays for that cyberpunk feel. [ Still in Beta ]
GEOMETRIC ABUSE: A series of geometric patterns overlaid to mess with your head. [ Still in Beta ]
STAB TO DEATH: When you feeling aggressive this filter with stab the gifs and make them bleed. Society is to blame.
SHIA LABOUF: Not sure why one would need this, but it is there if you do!
COLOR MODES:

DISCO: Flashing strobe lights like a discotheque or is that disco tech?
SPOOKY DISCO: This will do a intense inverse flash. Warning this thing is intense and could trigger epileptic fits.

We are about to preview a Beta Redesign of the site.
We also knocked out a few bug fixes, related to submitting audio and it’s metadata. That’s all good!
It might be time to expand what kind of audio we can take in to include some other audio services.
